The Directorate of Students Welfare at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) organised a cycle rally in memory of the national-level cyclist Devinder Singh Bansal, here on Wednesday.

The event was flagged off by the university’s vice-chancellor, Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, and more than 100 students participated enthusiastically in the rally.

Dr Gosal conveyed his wishes to all the participants and emphasised the importance of holding such events frequently, as cycling was an environment-friendly activity that greatly benefitted individual health.
