Punjab Congress working president and party candidate for the Ludhiana West Assembly bypoll Bharat Bhushan Ashu on Saturday condemned alleged raids by the GST Department on traders in the city when the country was at war with Pakistan.

In a statement, Ashu said he had been approached by traders, who said GST officials were conducting raids.There could not be a worse time than this for such punitive action.
