The school playground transformed into a lively sports field filled with cheers, applause and excitement as young learners showcased impressive coordination, agility and enthusiasm through a series of engaging performances and races.
Navkiran Sidhu, Excise and Taxation Officer, Ludhiana, was the chief guest on the occasion. She applauded the spirited participation of students. She appreciated efforts put in by the school to promote physical fitness, teamwork and holistic development through engaging activities for students.
The day featured captivating performances, including aerobics, skating demonstrations, Bhangra, drill display, and sports fitness dance, which left the audience thoroughly delighted. A wide range of fun-filled and creative races such as flat race, stack the glasses, cone and rings race, hurdle race, zigzag race, bunny and carrot race, butterfly race, ball pick race, vegetable race, let’s serve race, blocks race, honey bee race, clown race, and ice cream race added an element of thrill, joy and healthy competition to the event.
To make the day even more engaging, a series of exciting races were also organised for parents, including balancing head race, run backwards challenge, hocus focus, and pyramid race. The enthusiastic involvement of parents created a cheerful atmosphere and strengthened the bond between the school and the parent community.
Principal JK Sidhu appreciated dedicated efforts of teachers and students for putting up a spectacular event. She in her address emphasised that sports played a crucial role in shaping a confident, disciplined and resilient generation and encouraged parents to be with their wards during their play time to strengthen the bond with their wards and to prepare them for challenges of the life.
