A function was held to launch the BJP’s membership campaign at their party’s office in Dugri today. The programme was held under the aegis of district president Rajneesh Dhiman. Party’s state general secretary Rakesh Rathore also attended the programme.

Balloons were released to mark the initiation of the campaign. Rathore said the objective of the campaign was to make the masses aware of the largest party, its objectives and how it was attached to its roots.

Under the campaign, nearly five lakh new members would join the party across the state, said Rathore. He said the party had made a mobile number available and interested candidates could give a missed call on it to enroll themselves as members of the BJP.

Dhiman said new members could sign up through four ways — giving a missed call on the available number, scanning the party’s QR code, using the NAMO app, or by registering on the party’s website. In Ludhiana alone, over three lakh new members would be made, Dhiman said.
