Rajneesh Dhiman said on Friday, under the ruling AAP government, a situation such as the “Emergency” had been created in the state.

On Friday, the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government was unable to tolerate the support being given to the BJP by the people, due to which the common man was being kept away from facilities given by the Central Government. The BJP had planned to organise 1,444 camps in 1,500 villages of the state to connect various sections, including poor, women and farmers, with Central schemes but the AAP government forcibly closed 39 of the camps and took workers into custody, he said.

Dhiman said it was absurd that if the BJP was trying to tell people about their rights at the grassroots level, why AAP was objecting to the same? The AAP government was not doing anything for the poor and instead, it was creating hurdles in providing benefits of Central schemes to the people.
