Vice-president of the BJP Punjab youth wing Mithu Chadha and many other members of the wing held a protest against the state government on Jagraon Bridge here.

They said the Bhagwant Mann-led state government had failed on all fronts and nothing was done by the government, except displaying huge advertisements of their hollow promises on hoardings. Educated youngsters of the state were going abroad as they were not getting jobs here. The youngsters were turning to drugs in frustration. The promise of providing Rs 1,000 to women had still not seen the light of the day.

The youth burnt copies of their degrees and held the state government responsible for their present condition.
