Brig PS Cheema, SM, VSM, Group Commander of the Ludhiana Group of National Cadet Corps (NCC), visited 1 Punjab Remount and Veterinary Squadron of the NCC at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana. Col A Shrinivas Rao, Officer Commanding of 1 Punjab R&V Sqn, NCC welcomed and introduced him to the staff at the unit.

Brig Cheema inspected the horse stables, training area and functioning of the NCC unit and was all praise of the proper maintenance and upkeep. He also lauded the efforts and support of university towards the NCC Unit.

He interacted with the cadets, associate NCC officers, permanent instructional staff, unit staff and motivated them to train the cadets so that they can shine in every field and be helpful in nation-building.
