Building branch officials told to recover dues

To expedite the recovery of dues and stop illegal constructions, Municipal Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal held a meeting with the building branch officials at MC Zone D office in Sarabha Nagar.

Strict instructions have been issued to the building branch officials to expedite the recovery of challans issued by the civic body in the past and weekly targets have been fixed for those deputed in their respective zones.

Assistant Commissioner (UT) Dr Pragati Rani, Assistant Town Planners (ATP) and building inspectors were among the officials present in the meeting.

The building branch officials have further been directed to take strict action against illegal constructions in their respective zones.

MC Commissioner Dachalwal stated that weekly recovery targets have been fixed and strict departmental action would be taken against the officials if they fail to achieve the targets. Further, they have been directed to take strict action against illegal constructions in their respective areas.
