Ludhiana: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT) and Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Vocational Studies (GGNIVS) jointly organised their annual sports meet—Enthusia-2025 — at the sprawling grounds of the GGN campus. The overcast sky failed to dent the enthusiasm of the students and staff as they welcomed chief guest Chetanpreet Kaur Nilon, an international rifle shooter, with a loud roar of appreciation. The celebrations started with the hoisting of the institution’s sports flag. Dr SP Singh, president of the Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council (GKEC) and former Vice-Chancellor of GNDU, declared the meet open and released the mascot of the games into the sky. The participants pledged to maintain the spirit of sportsmanship, integrity and fair play during the sports meet. The spectators remained spellbound at their seats as the march past began. Synchronising their steps to the martial beat, leaders of different departments led their contingents in the march past. About 400 students participated in different sports events.
