Chamba, December 21

The Chamba police have claimed to have found a missing resident of Chamba from Ludhiana after about 30 years, Chamba SP Arul Kumar said here today.

The SP said that the missing man was identified as Ayub Khan, a resident of Chuwara village falling in Sarahan post office of tehsil and district Chamba.

“As soon as the Chamba police station received information that Ayub had been seen living in Ludhiana district and unable to return, a team of local police left for Punjab on Saturday and found him from Jaspalo village falling in Khanna tehsil of Ludhiana, SP said. Ayub was today brought to his native in Chamba district and handed over to his family members, the SP told. — OC
