A ‘Christmas Shobha Yatra’ was taken out today from the Kalvari Church Ground, Issa Nagri. With the presence of Christians, including a good number of women and children, the procession passed through several parts of the city from Shahpur Road, Clock Tower, and Salem Tabri towards the flyover, before reaching the railway station, passing through Pavillion Mall to Christ Church, Fountain Chowk, Rani Jhansi Road, Aarti Chowk, and then finally to the Church at Sarabha Nagar from Ferozpur Road. The songs of Jesus Christ, Mother Mary, were sung, and devotees were dressed in colourful attires and caps. Chariots were arranged, and the fun-filled Christmas procession was led by Albert Dua, president of the Christian United Federation, Johnson Gill, and Samuel Sahota.
