Civic body clerk proves mettle by coming second in half marathon

The half marathon was organised by Capital Small Finance Bank and Singh completed the marathon in 1 hour, 18 minutes, and 27 seconds, securing the second position in the 35-45 years age category.
Singh showcased commendable endurance and speed, maintaining his performance from start to finish. Officials, colleagues from the civic body, and sports enthusiasts congratulated him.
Baljinder Singh has been participating in different marathons organised across the country and abroad. Earlier in June this year, Singh had participated in the Phuket International Marathon and bagged the sixth position out of 234 participants under the 30-39 years category.
In August, Baljinder undertook an extraordinary run from Hassanpur, Ludhiana, to Amritsar. The run was dedicated to the Guru Granth Sahib Parkash Purb.
