Where any deficiencies were noticed, she issued clear instructions for immediate rectification. These included streamlining patient registration, ensuring proper medicine dispensing, and improving staff coordination for quicker service delivery.

The Civil Surgeon also interacted with patients and attendants, listened to their experiences and suggestions. She noted patients’ feedback and assured that every effort would be made to address their concerns promptly. Patients expressed appreciation for providing an opportunity to communicate directly with the district’s senior health official.

Dr Kaur said special emphasis must be laid on hygiene and sanitation within the premises of the CHC.
