SSP Gagan Ajit Singh said personnel in various wings had been advised to ensure that no stone was left unturned to celebrate academic excellence of the students of the district and help them imbibe elements of leadership, administration, discipline, dedication and devotion to duty.

Students said they were captivated by the multidimensional role of a police chief and his colleagues.

“Though we are too young to comprehend the intricacies of governance, we were fascinated to learn of his role in leadership, administration and community engagement besides being responsible for overseeing the whole department, managing personnel, developing strategies to reduce crime and ensuring effective law enforcement,” said Jasmeet Kaur.
