CM window set to resolve grievances

A CM window has been established at the district administrative complex here, on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to resolve public grievances in a convenient and hassle-free manner.
With the CM window system, all public grievances will be put up and settled online to bring transparency in governance and ensure prompt redressal of complaints filed by the people.
Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney said a person had to go to the CM window desk with their complaint and after registering the complaint at the window portal, it would be forwarded to the department/ nodal officer concerned. The complainant would receive a message on the mobile number regarding his or her issue. The nodal officer in the department concerned would ensure speedy redressal of the matter by addressing the same on a priority basis.
Sakshi mentioned that all nodal officers would be brought on a common platform for quick redressal of grievances. It would also help in exchange of information which would result in quick redressal.
She added that a mechanism had been evolved to monitor each and every complaint, thus ensuring proper transparency. Assistant Commissioner Kritika Goyal would be nodal officer for the CM window here.
