Appreciating personnel at various levels for their enthusiastic responses to the sessions, the SSP said that the information about the portal would enable them to make use of a centralised repository of crime-related data across the nation.

“As the system enables the seamless sharing of information between different law enforcement agencies, the efficiency of our officials would be enhanced after the training,” said Gagan Ajit Singh.

The SSP said access to relevant data would help in faster and more effective investigation and investing officers would be able to anticipate and identify crime patterns, trends and hotspots for various categories of crimes.
