100 grams of heroin and a motorcycle was seized from the accused, identified as Ashish Kumar of Sarpanch Colony, Meharban village.

Ludhiana Commissioner of Police Swapan Sharma said a team of officials, led by crime branch incharge Beant Juneja, nabbed the accused while he was waiting for a client on the Kailash Nagar-Basti Jodhewal road on Monday.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused worked at a private factory and hunted for drug consumers among labourers.
