Jaskaran’s father, ASI Jagmohan Singh, a wireless operator at Khanna Sadar police station, attributes his son’s traits of discipline, dedication and determination to his grandfather who was also an ex-serviceman.

Khanna DSP Kuldeep Singh Bhatti said police personnel were proud of the achievement of their colleague’s ward.

Bhumaddi Sarpanch Harmandeep Singh said Jaskaran’s parents had sacrificed their comforts for their son and daughter. Jaskaran is an engineer, while his sister is settled in Canada.
