Craste CEO invited to ‘At Home’ ceremony by Prez

Shubham Singh, founder and CEO of Craste, a Punjab Agri-Business Incubator (PABI) startup, has been honoured with an invitation to the prestigious ‘At Home’ ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on January 26. This invitation, extended by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, recognises Craste’s remarkable contributions to innovation and sustainable development, particularly in transforming agricultural waste into eco-friendly products.

Expressing his gratitude, Shubham stated that this recognition reflected the collective efforts of the Craste team and the farming communities they collaborate with.

Dr MS Bhullar, Director of Extension Education, highlighted the significance of the recognition, noting that it underscored the transformative potential of young entrepreneurs in agriculture and allied industries.

Dr TS Riar, Principal Investigator of PABI, emphasised that Craste’s success showcased the mentorship and support provided by PABI, serving as an inspiration for other startups. Dr Poonam Sachdev, Co-Principal Investigator of PABI, added that Craste’s innovative work exemplified the power of science and technology in addressing real-world challenges and driving sustainable solutions.
