Sodhi Cricket Academy is conducting trials to select talented U-15 boys for its cricket coaching programme at the academy grounds, Golf Link on Hambran Road, on November 14 at 2.30pm.

The selected players will be trained by qualified coaches. Players born on or after January 1, 2010 are eligible. The academy will form its teams from among these players and organise an U-15 tournament with prominent teams from the across the region. Interested players can contact cricket coach Bhupinder Singh at the academy. An amount of Rs 500 will be charged per player attending the trials.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
