DC constitutes committee to combat risk of disease outbreak

The committee, led by Chief Administrator of GLADA, Sandeep Kumar, includes Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Amarjit Bains, Assistant Commissioner (under training) Dr Pragati Rani and Dr Bishav Mohan from the DMCH.
This dedicated committee has been tasked with organising medical camps as needed and ensuring the availability of essential medicines to prevent the spread of diseases.
Additionally, the committee has been authorised to coordinate with private and government hospitals to procure medicines and assemble medical teams as required. The committee and medical teams will work tirelessly to conduct health camps, distribute medicines and provide medical support to affected areas.
DC Jain called on Ludhiana residents to fully cooperate with the medical teams and adhere to health advisories to ensure their safety during this critical period.
Medical teams will be available at Government Senior Secondary School, Focal Point, Ludhiana; Government Senior Secondary School, Sherpur Kalan; Government Senior Secondary School, Vishrampur; and Government Senior Secondary School, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana.
