The DCA Moga XI scored a convincing victory against CP Cricket Academy, Ludhiana, by nine wickets in the ongoing First Sodhi Inter-Academies (U-18) Cricket Tournament being played at the Sodhi Cricket Academy ground, Golf Link on Hambran Road here on Friday.

Moga boys restricted CP Cricket Academy to a modest score of 85 runs in 26.2 overs, in which 23 runs came as extras and Balraj Singh made 18 runs, while Lovepreet Singh and Aarav Aggarwal contributed 13 and 10, respectively.

Sachin Chuadhary of DCA Moga XI took four wickets for nine runs in eight overs, while Jaskaran Singh and Raghav Singla got rid of two batsmen each.

Chasing a small target, DCA Moga XI made 86 runs in 18.4 overs after losing only one wicket to script an easy win. Sagar remained unbeaten on 46 runs and Karaninder contributed 20 runs to help their team wrap up the issue comfortably.
