The Ludhiana District Table Tennis Association (LDTTA) selected players to represent the district in the Punjab State Table Tennis Championship, scheduled to be held from December 5 to 9 at Hans Raj Stadium, Jalandhar.

The list of selected players, released by Manmeet Singh, honorary general secretary, LDTTA, included paddlers who would compete in more than one age group during the championship at Jalandhar.

The members of the Ludhiana contingent were handed over kits at the ceremonial send-off function, held at the table tennis hall near Guru Nanak Stadium.

The boys squad comprises Sachin, Angaddeep, Dhruuv, and Iyaan in the U-9 category; Dhruvin, Rudra, Aditya, and Sachin in the U-11; Abhirvey, Rudra, Sehajdeep, and Aditya in the U-13 category; Shivansh, Kovid, Ryan, and Abhirvey in the U-15 category; Aryan, Raghav, Vihaan, and Satvik in the U-17 category; and Prabhjot, Aryan, Satvik, and Raghav in the U-19 category.

The men’s squad comprises Naman Mehra, Manpreet, Raghav, Vihaan, and Prabhjot.

While the girls selected are U-9: Aarvi, Kiran, Tanishka, and Mehr; U-11: Gauranshi, Trishika, Arshiya, and Jaanvi; U-13: Gauranshi, Kashvi, Jaanvi, and Shanaya; U-15: Kavya, Saesha, Priyanka, and Gauranshi; U-17: Kavya, Yashvi, Sanya, and Saesha; U-19: Jasmeen, Sehajpreet, Sanya, and Yashvi.

The women’s squad includes: Sehajpreet, Yashvi, Kavya, Mehar, and Jasmeen.
