Dayanand Medical College and Hospital has expanded its eye care services by launching a new initiative — a fortnightly eye screening camp for retina and glaucoma. These camps will offer a comprehensive screening services, aiming at early detection and prevention of vision loss due to glaucoma and various retinal diseases like diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration and retinal detachment. It is worth mentioning here that these diseases often remain asymptomatic until advanced stages and need routine screening for their detection. Principal Dr G S Wander encouraged everyone to take advantage of the upcoming screening camps to ensure proper eye health.
