Amidst changing season with nights becoming colder and days pleasant, the entomologists of PAU have advised beekeepers to take special care of honey bees. As many as 22 beekeepers attended the monthly training camp of Progressive Beekeepers’ Association. Principal Entomologist Dr Jaspal Singh suggested regular monitoring of bees, their extra care in winters and adoption of recommended technologies for their management during winters.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
