The ESIC Medical College and Hospital has launched the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan’, a nationwide initiative by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. Running from September 17 to October 2, the campaign focuses on women’s health as the cornerstone of empowered families and a healthier society.

Mayor Inderjeet Kaur inaugurated the campaign, emphasising that true health stems not only from medicine but also from awareness, preventive care and lifestyle changes. Dean Inder Pawar highlighted the role of education in women’s empowerment while Medical Superintendent Aparajita D’souza urged women to take charge of their health for the well-being of their families and communities.
