The tournament, running from August 1 to August 3, features promising young players from across the state.
In the girls’ U15 category, Krishvi of Amritsar defeated Aarohi Thakur (Amritsar) in the semi-finals, while Kavya Gupta of Ludhiana overcame Preeza. Kavya Gupta then triumphed over Krishvi in the final.
In the boys’ U15 category, Satvik Sharma of Amritsar was defeated by Trijal Vohre (Amritsar) in the semifinal. Lakshin Sharma, another player from Amritsar, beat Dhruvin of Ludhiana. Trijal Vohre went on to win the final against Lakshin Sharma.
The girls’ U17 semifinal saw Krishvi overcome Himanshi and Jasmeen of Ludhiana defeat Aarohi Thakur of Amritsar. Krishvi secured victory against Jasmeen in the final.
In the boys’ U17 category, Raghav Bhanot of Ludhiana lost to Trijal Vohre of Amritsar, while Garavdeep Aulakh of Amritsar beat Rehaan Puri. Trijal Vohre then claimed the final win over Garavdeep Aulakh.
The girls’ U19 semifinal featured Gulsheen Kaur Patiala beating Kavya Gupta of Ludhiana and Krishvi defeating Nitya of Amritsar. In the final, Gulsheen of Patiala emerged victorious over Krishvi.
In the boys’ U19 category, Rajveer Singh of Amritsar defeated Aayush Gambhir, while Advik Puri lost to Lakshya Mahajan, both from Amritsar. Rajveer Singh secured the championship by beating Lakshya Mahajan in the final.
