The Ludhiana police registered a case against a doctor and his three aides, who attacked a man over an old enmity.

The accused were identified as Dr Tarlochan Kumar Bawa, a resident of New Subash Sagar; Himanshu, Sudhanshu and Gurashish.

Complainant Balbir Singh, alias Babbu, a resident of Mayapuri, said on July 31, 2025, while walking with his friend Praveen, when, near Bawa Hospital Dr Bawa, and his three aides came out of the hospital and beat him up over an old grudge. Balbir claimed he ran away from the spot to save his life, but the accused still threatened to kill him. Later he lodged a complaint and after around three weeks, the police yesterday registered a case against the accused.

The complainant demanded the police arrest the accused.
