Principal Gursharn Jit Singh Sandhu welcomed Kulwant Singh Sidh, MLA of Atam Nagar constituency and an alumnus of the college, among other dignitaries.
Kulwant urged the youth to channel their vigour with determination, remain focused on their goals and actively participate in the war against drugs. The college also acknowledged Bikramjit Singh Madhok of Madhok Enterprises for his generous financial support towards the successful organisation of the event.
Competitions were held across four venues, filling the campus with colour, rhythm and excitement. The highlight of the day was the bhangra performance, which brought alive the exuberant folk spirit of Punjab and drew loud applause from the audience. Students also captivated spectators with expressive mime acts, soulful kavishri, kali, and vaar recitals, and creative endeavours in quiz, creative writing, and handwriting competitions. Artistic finesse shone through phulkari, bagh, knitting, crochet, henna designing, and cross-stitch events, making the day a vibrant celebration of talent, tradition, and youthful energy.
