Gambling racket busted, 1 held with Rs 7.50L

The Jodhan police have busted a gambling racket in which the accused had been duping innocent people on the pretext of multiplying their money through online gambling. An amount of Rs 7.50 lakh was seized from possession of the ‘satta king’, identified as Harminder Singh of Gujjarwal village in Ludhiana district. He has been arrested on Thursday.

Dakha DSP Varinder Singh Khosa said the accused had been involved in duping innocent labourers and farmers on the pretext of multiplying their money through an App used for online gambling.
