The Union Budget 2024 was discussed at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT) today.

A live presentation of the Union Budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was viewed by the students of MBA, BBA, BCom (Honours). This was followed by sector-wise presentations on the impact of the Union Budget on the railways, infrastructure, taxation, education, start-ups, services sector, manufacturing industry besides a regional perspective of the budget.

The event was organised by the department of business management of the college. Besides the teaching faculty of the college, more than 100 students attended the discussion. The faculty team dwelt upon the expectations and deliverables from the interim budget. The rationale of the budget and its likely impact on the economy was also deliberated upon.
