GNSA Academy overpowered D Sports Arena Academy by four wickets in the ongoing First Inter-Academies (U-18) Cricket Tournament being played at the Sodhi Cricket Academy ground on Hambran Road here.

Batting first, D Sportz Arena could not survive their full quota of 40 overs and they were bowled out for 103 runs in 39.2 overs. Only two batters, Jaskaran Singh and Mridul Nanda, could reach the double figures, scoring 32 and 28 runs, respectively.

For GNSA Academy, Yuvraj bowled eight overs, conceded only three runs and captured three wickets and Anmol too claimed three wickets after giving away 33 runs while Arshit Arora got two wickets for 14 runs. GNSA Academy achieved the target (106 for 6) in 24.3 overs in which Abhishek and Jasdeep Singh made valuable contributions of 31 and 30 runs, respectively while Rkshit Khosla scored 19 runs. For the losing side, Ayaan and Arnav Sharma scalped three and two victims, respectively.
