“Contrary to last year when I was nervous and confused, I was comparatively relaxed this time. Actually, I had to make changes to my daily routine, give up things I love and focus on a healthy diet to keep my voice’s timbre. I worked hard, stayed focused and gave my all to reach this stage,” Amanpreet added.

Amanpreet’s grandfather, Gurcharan Singh, shared that despite straining his vocal cords, Amanpreet persevered. “Though he has music in his blood, it is his dedication that has made the real difference. His unwavering commitment to practice from dawn to dusk has made him capable of achieving the success which thousands yearn for but only a few lucky ones receive.”

President Harpratap Brar along with the principal of Guru Nanak National College, Doraha, Dr Sarvjeet Brar, while congratulating Amanpreet and his guide and mentor Prof Rampal Banga, expressed, “Amanpreet’s achievements are truly impressive! He will certainly make a name for himself in the world of music. We are blessed to have a talent like Amanpreet in our college.”
