Students representing Baba Zorawar Singh House stamped their supremacy and helped their contingent lift the overall trophy in the annual athletics meet of Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town.

In the U-14 category, Harshveer Singh and Jaspreet Singh were jointly declared best athletes in the boys’ section and in the girls’ section Jap Puneet Kaur was adjudged the best athlete.

Pavleen Kaur and Avnoor Kaur were named best athletes jointly in the girls U-17 category, while Gurveer Singh was declared the best athlete in the boys’ section.

Divij Arora, Manpreet Singh and Veerkunwar Singh shared the best athlete award in the boys U-19 group and Japmann Kaur was adjudged the best athlete in the girls’ section.

The closing ceremony featured a cultural programme, drill dance, yoga exercises, gymnastics and bhangra.
