Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Karamsar Colony, New Subhash Nagar, Ludhiana, alleged that his sister, Diviya Kumari, had died by suicide after hanging herself in her room on Monday.

Pankaj claimed the accused had consistently harassed and mentally tortured the deceased since her marriage in 2017, which had driven her to take the extreme step.

Investigating Officer Jarnail Singh said that Jaskaran Singh was arrested while attempting to flee the area late on Tuesday evening.
