An honorary function was organised at Gulzar Group of Institutes (GGI) for Indian hockey team players, including captain Manpreet Singh, Harmandeep Singh vice-captain, midfielder Hardik Singh and Gurjant Singh, who visited the college campus today. Students and residents attended the function. All hockey players were honoured by the management on the occasion. Captain Manpreet Singh and his team members shared their thoughts on winning the medal at the Olympics and informed that it was the most important moment for them when the Indian hockey team won the medal at the Olympics after 41 years. Gurkirat Singh, executive director, Gulzar Group, congratulated the entire team on their victory. —TNS
