The Jagtar Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament Committee is organising the 8th edition of All India Jagtar Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament (Under-21) from December 16 to 20 at Prithipal Singh Hockey Stadium. PAU, Ludhiana. This tournament will be played on a league-cum-knock basis and will witness the participation of the country’s leading teams.

This tournament is being organised in the memory of Jagtar Singh, who was a renowned hockey player, a sports organiser and an advocate. He was the founder of the District Hockey Association and served as the body’s secretary for 20 years and was thrice elected as the president of the District Bar Association.

Today, a meeting on tournament preparations was held during which Harvinder Singh Sran, a leading NRI of the region and Chairman of Harvest International School & Tennis Academy, Jassowal Kular, announced a Rs 3 lakh-grant to the tournament organising committee.
