Kashish helps CM Smashers beat Paraswa Royal Strikers

Fine all-round performance by Kashish Jain enabled CM Smashers to beat Paraswa Royal Strikers by 16 runs on the second day of the ongoing 8th Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) Premier Cricket League being held here at the Punjab Agricultural University ground on Monday.

CM Smashers made 124 runs after losing six wickets, in which Kashish chipped in with 66 runs off just 19 balls and remained unbeaten. Chasing the target, Paraswa Royal Strikers scored 108 runs with Kashish excelling again, scalping three wickets after conceding ten runs. For his outstanding performance, Kashish was declared player of the match.

In the second match of the day, Anit Culture Army defeated Pro Riders United by 18 runs. In reply to the Anti Culture Army’s total of 139 runs for the loss of three wickets, Pro Riders United scored 121 runs after losing five wickets. Vikram of the winning side, who contributed 57 runs in 21 balls, was named the player of the match.

In other matches, Sudarshan Tigers (101 for 1) beat Zizou Warriors (95 for 7) by nine wickets in which Archit Jain (55 not out) was adjudged the player of the match, Aarti Ultra Strikers (103 for 5) outplayed Vijay Vallabh Swaggers (102 for 6) by five wickets with Kamal (3 for 10) being declared the player of the match, 3M Super XI (142 for 5) recorded victory by 32 runs against Sweet Touch Strikers (110 for 8) in which Pulkit (55 runs and 2 for 24) was declared player of the match and Sweet Smashers (123 for 7) beat Charlie Strikers (106 for 6) by 17 runs in which Vishrut Jain who made 34 runs and took two wickets for 13 runs, was named the player of the match.
