The probe has been ordered after a complaint was submitted that doctors at the hospital were charging for the surgeries being done under the ABPMJAY. The complaint submitted to the bureau alleged that inflated bills were being sent to the government for reimbursement.

The hospital staff and doctors are tight-lipped about the investigation being done and nobody wants to share anything about it with the fear of getting involved in the case.

A senior police official said the investigation is on and hospital has submitted the required details and they can comment only after thorough study of the data submitted to them is done. The bureau has also got a copy of the details regarding ABPMJAY.
