Among many talented participants, one name stood out — Laxmi Gupta from Smart School, Moti Nagar. Competing in the 8–10 years category, Laxmi performed with remarkable poise and precision, ultimately securing the first prize. Her victory was not just a medal —it was a moment of pride for her school, her family and her mentor.

Behind Laxmi’s graceful poses and confident smile lies a journey of dedication. “Yoga makes me feel happy and light,” she shared after the event. “It helps me stay flexible — not just in my body, but in my mind too,” she said.

Ever since she began practicing yoga, there’s been no looking back. What started as a morning routine soon became a passion. Whether it’s the calming breath work or the challenge of mastering new asanas, Laxmi finds joy in every stretch and stance.

Her yoga instructor Prabhjyot Kaur couldn’t be prouder. “Laxmi has a natural rhythm,” she said. “She listens to her body, respects its limits, and yet pushes herself with grace. Her focus and enthusiasm are rare at such a young age,” she said.

Prabhjyot, whose gentle guidance and structured training have shaped many young yogis, believes Laxmi’s win is a testament to what consistent practice and inner joy can achieve.

“The entire Moti Nagar Smart School is celebrating Laxmi’s achievement with cheers and heartfelt congratulations. Her story is now inspiring other students to explore yoga not just as a sport, but as a way of life,” said Principal Sukhdir Singh Sekhon.

As the sun sets on this memorable day, Laxmi continues to roll out her mat with the same excitement she felt on day one. For her, yoga isn’t just about winning — it’s about growing, glowing and flowing through life with balance.
