Courtrooms paused proceedings at 11 am as judicial officers, advocates, staff and litigants stood in solidarity with the victims of the the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam to observe a two-minute silence on Thursday. The silence was observed in accordance with the directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. .

There was visible resentment and grief within the legal fraternity over the killing of innocent tourists in Kashmir. Lawyers expressed strong condemnation of the terror attack and demanded stringent action against those responsible.
