The District Bar Association (DBA), Ludhiana, has appointed Lokesh Batta as the returning officer (RO) to conduct its annual elections, scheduled to be held on January 28. He is the youngest RO appointed in the DBA history.

The decision was taken during a General House meeting held under the chairmanship of DBA president Chetan Verma at the District Courts Complex here.

Besides him, six assistant returning officers, Himakar Kumar, Mandeep Kaur Bhatti, Kulwinder Kaur (Dolly), Inderjit Kaur, Jagtar Singh and Ravinder Singh (Prince Arora), were appointed.
