Hosts Satguru Ram Singh Government Polytechnic College, Rishi Nagar, clinched the gold medal in the kho-kho competition in the boys category during the Punjab Inter-Polytechnic Colleges Games, organised by the Punjab Technical Sports Industry (PTIS), which concluded here today.

Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic College, Amritsar, finished runners-up and Government Polytechnic College, Jalandhar, secured the third position.

Besides, SRS Government Polytechnic College, Ludhiana, emerged winners in table tennis and kho-kho (girls), and secured silver medals in handball and kabaddi (boys).

Principal of Government Polytechnic College, Kotakapura, Suresh Kumar, was the chief guest on the final day. He and Manoj Kumar Jambla, principal of the host college, gave away prizes to the winners.
