Ludhiana industry mourns the loss of visionary leader Ratan Tata

The industrial and financial capital of Punjab, Ludhiana, is mourning the demise of Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, who passed away at a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday evening after a prolonged illness. He was 86.

Punjab Industries Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond described Ratan Tata as a “real ratan” who made significant contributions to strengthening the country’s economy. His simplicity, hard work, and honesty will always be remembered, along with his compassion towards animals.

Rajya Sabha MP and business magnate Sanjeev Arora said, “A great light has dimmed today. Ratan Tata’s quiet strength and unwavering values transformed industries and uplifted countless lives.”

Onkar Singh Pahwa, CMD of Avon Cycles, praised Ratan Tata as an icon who blended corporate growth with nation-building and excellence with ethics. His legacy will inspire future generations to pursue success with integrity.

Other industry leaders, including Sidharth Khanna, Amit Thapar, Sanjeev Garg, Deepak Dumra, Upkar Singh Ahuja, Gurpreet Singh, and Pankaj Sharma, also shared their condolences, remembering Ratan Tata as a visionary leader, philanthropist, and true patriot.
