Mayor Inderjit Kaur felicitated the officials of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) cell of the Municipal Corporation for timely disbursal of salaries for the month of June on July 1.

MC Joint Commissioner Vineet Kumar, DCFA Ravinder Walia, Executive Engineer Parshotam Singh, salary clerks of O&M cell, Pardeep and Gurcharan Singh, were presented appreciation certificates for completing the paperwork in time and disbursing the salaries of O&M cell on July 1.

Mayor Inderjit Kaur stated that it is among her priority to disburse the salaries within the first week of every month. The entire salaries of June month were released within the first four days of July. Not only the salaries, pension was also released within this period.

The Mayor stated that the officials of all the branches of the civic body have been directed to complete the paperwork for releasing the salaries by the end of every month so that there is no delay. She further stated that the welfare of employees has always been her priority and all required steps are being taken for it.
