A 65-year-old woman died in Ludhiana’s Christian Medical College and Hospital on Sunday, a day after she tested positive for COVID-19.

The woman had been admitted to the hospital on June 4 with complaints of fever and breathlessness. Her creatinine levels were high at around 9.4 and she was intubated after her health declined.

This is Ludhiana’s tenth death from COVID-19.

Punjab’s COVID bulletin put Ludhiana’s coronavirus tally at 293 on Sunday.
