Major fire breaks out in Focal Point dyeing unit

The fire, which erupted on the first floor of the dyeing unit, was successfully contained by the Fire Department, preventing it from extending beyond the immediate area.
Six fire tenders were used to tackle the intensive flames. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported during the incident.
As per the firefighters, a large stock of garments was stored on the first floor and that acted as a highly combustible source. It took the firemen over two hours to bring the situation under full control.
Sources said that the emergency call for the fire at “Rajindra Dyeing” was received at approximately 10.05 AM at fire control room. Six fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the site.
