The SSP said the Police-Public Foundation had been roped in for establishing paraphernalia required for shifting disabled vehicles from the roads in Malerkotla, Amargarh and Ahmedgarh subdivisions.

“After hearing the problems faced by the SSF, traffic and investigating teams in removing vehicles and heavy objects, we approached the Police-Public Foundation and requested a towing van,” added the SSP.

He said the towing vehicle would be parked at a central position when it’s not in use for special campaigns to clear the roads, streets and markets from stranded and wrongly parked vehicles.
