A case has been registered against a person for allegedly attempting to possess a property in Barewal Awana, here, by creating fake documents.

The complainant, Gurcharan Singh, a resident of D-Block, Sarabha Nagar, alleged that Charanjit Singh, a resident of Raghbir Park, created fake documents to grab his 444-sq-yard plot in Mouja Barewal Awana.

Gurcharan Singh told the Commissioner of Police about the matter, and the police were directed to take action. After investigating, the Sarabha Nagar police on Tuesday registered a case against Charanjit. The police have started an investigation

in the matter.

Investigating officer ASI Umesh Kumar said the suspect would be arrested soon. The police were investigating the matter and further action would be taken accordingly.
