Naresh Kumar (45) was admitted to the hospital on November 25 for a kidney stone operation which was performed on the 26th. Parvati, the wife, said he died just 15-20 minutes after the surgery. She claims that despite knowing about her husband’s critical condition, the hospital authorities delayed informing her and instead referred him to Apollo Hospital, where she was told that he had already passed away.

She also alleged that the hospital did not provide her with any documents despite charging a hefty fee. Besides, her 18-year-old son was asked to arrange blood immediately after the surgery and she was not shown the stone removed. She is demanding action against the hospital.

Doraha SHO Akash Dutt said, “Postmortem shall be conducted and action will be taken accordingly.”
